UK’s “Top Gear” pushes the limits of all cars big or small, fast or slow. Now it seems like they’re trying to push the limits of their audience and fans… at least the Mexican ones haha. They done did it, they’ve angered the Mexicans. On the show, presenters Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson, and James May were discussing the Mexican made Mastretta MXT (which in my opinion is funny looking, but seems to have some pep to it), when they said the following:
Mexican cars are just going to be lazy, feckless, flatulent, overweight, leaning against a fence asleep looking at a cactus with a blanket with a hole in the middle on as a coat.
Now we all know that’s funny, but really now? These guys are a representation of Great Britain, I’d even go as far as saying a representation of all English-speaking nations. Everyone has a little racist in them but being on such a large international stage they should really be careful with what they say, worst of all, I’m surprised the producers thought that was okay to air. Tune in next week when we cover the public apology :P.
