Spoon Sports has come out with a clever way to completely eliminates sub-frame play during driving by creating these specially made rigid collars. The concept behind these chassis rigid collars is to completely unite the chassis of the car to the sub-frame by filling up the gaps where the two parts meet & the bolts insert. And since the sub-frame holds the suspension parts of the car; this results in more precise suspension travel, improved chassis stability, reduced sub-frame noise, and better tire grip during any type of driving.
Spoon Sports has developed these parts for most Honda & Acura vehicles, as well as other manufacturer’s cars such as STI GRB, RX7 FD3, IS350, etc. Depending on the vehicle the parts will retail at $200+
Note: Now, these rigid collars are precisely made to fit snug in the gaps and uses special aircraft aluminum to properly expand during installation and reduce shock transfer. So be aware of future cheap replicas.
